Young Aviators ‘Self Help’
Released 13th May 2013
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Electric Honey Records at Stow College, the label announces the release of the debut album, ‘Self Help’ by Young Aviators.
Young Aviators are a fuzzy, no-nonsense, garage pop band based in Glasgow. Declan, Kyle and John grew up together in the picturesque seaside town of Warrenpoint in County Down before they made a conscious decision to relocate together to study and play in Glasgow. Since then, they have steadily created a buzz and an ever-growing fan base which has seen the band’s energetic live show develop with tours supporting Reef and The Subways.
‘Self Help’ was recorded in Glasgow’s Chem19 Studios with producer Jamie Savage. The album emphasises Young Aviators’ original take on guitar based music, bursting with youthful energy and topped off with perfect three part harmonies.
The album will be available from all good Digital retailers and on CD in local record shops from May 13th 2013. The album will be launched at Glasgow’s Oran Mor to coincide with the West End Festival on 31st May.
Catch them live at Oran Mor on the 31st May with Wake The Presidents and Albert Shakespeare.
