Hue and Cry are delighted to announce a weekend of special shows at Glasgow’s O2 ABC in March 2014 to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of their Remote and Bitter Suite albums.
Due to the immense popularity and phenomenal demand of the previous Hue and Cry ‘Glasgow Kiss’ and ‘Hot Wire ’ weekends, the Hue and Cry ‘Remote Weekend’ promises to be the most incredible experience yet and will feature all the songs from Remote along with countless other favourites and surprises.
Friday, 14th March will see Pat and Greg Kane perform an intimate ‘stripped back’ performance of the album ‘Bitter Suite’ which will be followed on Saturday, 15th March with the brothers lining up as part of the full-on eight piece band to perform tracks from ‘Remote’. Hue and Cry are thrilled to be returning to a much loved venue, as lead singer Pat says,
“We are really looking forward to this weekend, there are some great extra surprises that we are keeping up our sleeves, this is going to be a real celebration of a great record and the 25 year since.”
Fans will be able to buy individual tickets for both the Friday and Saturday gigs and as before the option to purchase the Platinum Pass Package will also be available, providing the ultimate in access to THE HUE AND CRY REMOTE WEEKEND.
This package consists of tickets to both shows, a commemorative souvenir brochure, a laminated pass, which gives additional VIP access to a host of extras which will include: a champagne reception; a Q & A – which will see the brothers answer a selection of questions from the fans; Meet & Greet – meet Pat and Greg; behind the scenes access; pre show hospitality on the Saturday, which includes a deluxe finger buffet and entrance to the after show party in the ABC.
