Hector Bizerk, Tijuana Bibles, Atom Tree and Holy Ghosts among the first names to be revealed for #TT14 to help celebrate Tenement TV’s third birthday
TENEMENT TRAIL festival is back for the second consecutive year with a dynamic line-up of bands. Stretching across four venues on Glasgow’s famous Sauchiehall Street, the festival will see over 30 acts of an eclectic mix of genres take to the stages in October from noon until the early hours to help celebrate Tenement TV’s third birthday.
#TT14 sets out to fill the void. Anything but just another festival, TT14 is dedicated to underground and breakthrough talent, created by and for music lovers in Scotland. This year’s line-up will see the likes of Hector Bizerk, Tijuana Bibles, Atom Tree, The Holy Ghosts and Crash Club play the thirteen hour event.
These acts will be joined by The Velveteen Saints, Friends In America, Vladimir, Dirty Diamond & The Gunslinger, Cherri Fosphate, Twin Mirrors and Tribal High with many more bands to be announced over the coming months.
Taking place on Sat 4th October, TT14 will nest in Glasgow’s independent venues ABC2, Broadcast, Nice N Sleazy and the new Beresford Lounge.
Brought to you by Tenement TV, the media outlet that provides an inspirational and innovative platform for unsigned bands, TT14 celebrates the local and independent Scottish music scene and will also celebrate their third birthday this October, perfectly timed for the event.
Tenement TV CEO Chae Houston said: “We have continued to support local artists and are permanently engaged with the Scottish creative and music scenes.
“This year’s Tenement Trail will bring together music lovers in the city and we are really excited to watch these amazing performances unfold. Last year’s event was a great success and we saw an amazing headline slot from Kassidy and packed sets for the likes of Fat Goth.
“Our first line-up announcement is just a small taste of what’s to come!”
Some of the best experiences take place in the smallest of venues. TT14 will continue the festival organiser’s longstanding dedication to getting fans of great music up-close with unmissable acts ensuring it’s a day to night affair to remember.
Tickets are on-sale Monday 19th May 2014 from 09:00 and available from Tickets Scotland on-line and in stores in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Earlybird tickets are priced at £10 per ticket. TT14 will kick-off from 14:00 and run until 00:00 with the aftershow taking place between 00:00-03:00 on Sunday 5th October 2014.
