Read More goNORTH is delighted to announce some exciting changes to this year’s event. After five successful years supporting new music at RockNess, goNORTH will go back to its roots in 2011 and support new music at some of the best independent festivals in the country, including the award-winning Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, TheWickerman Festival and Loopallu.
This development will mean that all acts selected to showcase at goNORTH 2011 will also get the opportunity to showcase at one or more of the independent festivals featured on the goNorth Festival Tour.
Festival director Shaun Arnold added: “We are really excited about the goNORTH Festival Tour. After successfully programming a dedicated new music stage at RockNess for the last five years, and helping it develop into one of the biggest festivals in the country, we are really excited to go back to our roots and support new music across a series of fantastic independent festivals”.
goNORTH takes place in Inverness on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June 2011
Please Note: There will be no goNORTH stage at RockNess 2011.
