Suspire new single produced by Echo & the Bunnymens Gordon Goudie

RISING GLASGOW INDIE BAND SCOOP MEMBER OF ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN TO PRODUCE SINGLE

Following the success of their self-released debut single, the Glasgow trio will be treating fans to more indie rock with new single, “Salvation Sister”. The interesting thing about this release is that new fan, Gordy Goudie of Echo and The Bunnymen, decided he would produce it for them.
To celebrate the new release, we invite you to the live performance from Suspire at Captain’s Rest on Tuesday 26th April where the band will perform a special show just for press.

Already, the band have gained radio airplay on the likes of Rock Radio, BBC Radio Scotland and more recently on Jim Gellatly’s Amazing Radio Show. Internationally, just last year, Suspire also hooked primetime radio spins in Washington D.C., whilst featuring on new online Sony Playstation game, Veemee.
Although the success has been incremental, rising from the depths of grass-root .D.I.Y. (or, ‘the-artist-as-entrepreneur-movement’ as some may refer), the band have enjoyed being influential and in control of every part of their own art.

Making their festival debut at RockNess 2010; going on tour Stateside, then wooing crowds in downtown Vancouver a few days later, have given them enough juice to put into this new record. Having Gordy Goudie onboard to produce the single shows just how far Suspire have come. The former Echo and The Bunnymen member and fan of the band called them a “tight rocking 3-piece combo with supercharged groove - to wake even the dead”.
The band’s drummer, Clare Kelly, said:

“I loved making this record with Gordy and the guys... The chemistry was amazing. Gordy is all about the vibe which, for me, ignited a beauty and wholesomeness in the whole recording process”.
