Read More The Lava Experiments are releasing a new five track EP titled Love, Lust & Loss
It will be out Monday 30th May on very limited cd and digital release and will be followed up by a launch at The Captains Rest, Glasgow, Saturday 4th June.
The band have said the following
"Having completed the demo for Love, Lust & Lost at the end of last month (with Adam Craig) we were stoked hear that Creative Scotland will be funding the actual recording of the EP at Riverside Music Complex with Duncan Cameron. Working with Adam on the demo was really useful from a production point of view as weve been dissecting and reconstructing the tunes in a way that perhaps we wouldnt have been able to in a intensive week in a studio, where youre against the clock."
The five track EP consists of Seasonal Therapy, Time To Forget, Fading Thoughts, Heavy Burden and Frost Is Back and the recording will be underway with Duncan next week.
With 5-6 weeks to go till the EP release (30th May) and the launch (4th June) at The Captains Rest, pre-order of the limited CDs is now open and tickets are now available. Both can be purchased direct from the Lava website (www.thelavaexperiments.co.uk) via PayPal for £5 each.
The launch is going to be a very special night, with guest spots being filled by The Organs of Love and Death By Misadventure. This will be The Captains Rest first show of the Westend Festival this year.
