London’s foremost grime and dubstep station Rinse FM brings some of the biggest names in the scene to the Arches this February as part of a nationwide tour.
For the first time ever, Londons foremost dubstep and grime station Rinse FM is going on tour with some of their favourite acts of the moment. Ending with a massive blow out rave at London’s notorious Fabric, the Rinse team will be calling in at the Arches with possibly the finest line-up of the tour: current headliner of the UK scene Zinc, the much-hyped grime newcomer MC P Money and Rinse FM regular party starters Plastician, Brackles and Elijah & Skilliam.
One of the key players at the birth of jungle, Zincs career has seen him move from the exhilirating world of pirate radio to producing some of the scenes most pioneering anthems - Super Sharp Shooter, his remix of the Fugees Ready Or Not, 138 trek. His achievements in the UK dance scene are remarkable, consistently redefining boundaries and helping to push new genres. After a producing/DJing hiatus, Zincs return to the decks in 2009 reestablished him as a true master of his craft - and one who will always know how to truly devastate a dancefloor.
Its fitting that he will be sharing a bill with some of the most hyped names in bass music right now. Since 2008s What Did He Say, grime MC P Money - formerly of the Fatal Assassins crew - has become one of the most revered names in the underground scene, known for his fast flow and presence in the dubstep scene, whilst Plastician (formerly known as Plasticman) has been instrumental in connecting the east London grime scene and the south London dubstep scene, rising from his pirate roots to a current Radio 1 residency after his fresh approach to both genres was recognised by the mainstream dance industry.
Brought to you by The Arches in association with Mixed Bizness, prepare for some serious damage to the Arches soundsystem at one of the biggest bass showcases of the year.
