The Soviets new single Good Times released by Celtic Football Club

Celtic Football Club, The Soviets and CLAS Management are delighted to announce the release of the bands debut single Good Times on 13th February 2012.
In the tradition of the Celtics charitable heritage all proceeds will be donated to the Clubs Charity Fund giving particular recognition to Tommy Burns and his valiant battle with skin cancer.

Hailing from Greenock, The Soviets have already enjoyed success throughout the UK by supporting artists including Ocean Colour Scene, Mark Morris, Chris Helme and Kassidy in venues such as Liverpools Cavern Club, Manchesters FAC51 and King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow.

The Soviets have an appreciation of musical history and influence with a diverse mix of Peter Tosh, the Blues, The Las and James Brown to name but a few. This is closely associated with their collective love of Celtic FC and their commitment to the clubs charitable roots.

Music and football have always had a close relationship. Young people not only define themselves by their choice of football team, but their lifestyles and friendships are also formed through their musical choices. Add to this a love of Celtic FC and strong ties from early school days and you have The Soviets.
