Read More Wick family music festival Bfest is back for its third year , and this time around the one day event will be headlined by their biggest name to date - The Proclaimers. Set on the picturesque banks of Wick river the festival which is on Saturday 11th August this year, has gone from strength to strength since it was established in 2010. It sold out its 2200 capacity last year and with an increased capacity of 3000 this year the organisers will be hoping for another sell out year.
Organisers Rypeco Promotions plan to have the addition of a family friendly area which will have entertainment for the younger members of the audience as well as a peaceful area for families to relax and enjoy the main stage entertainment. In addition to this there will be fairground rides, food village and one of the best stocked bars you are likely to see at a festival! Organiser Ryan Cook says As well as making sure the families are well catered for we like to make sure the adults are looked after also, and that means some great food on offer at great prices as well as a great range of drinks at the bar.
The festival is also part of two festival tours, goNorth and Live & Unsigned UK. goNorth is a Scotland wide tour that will stop off at Belladrum, Wickerman, Bfest and Loopallu. Live & Unsigned is a UK wide tour with the winners from a national final held in the 02 Arena in London making the trip up to Wick in August.
Earlybird tickets priced at £25 (Normal price £30) are on sale now from Mcallans Clothes Shop Wick & Thurso, Blackstairs Lounge Wick, Auld Motor Hoose Kirkwall, Mania Clothing Inverness and online at www.seetickets.com
