Scotlands festival season will come to an incredible close this August, with international acts playing the countrys most vibrant cities as Summer Sessions in Edinburgh + Glasgow bring acts including The Cure, Florence + the Machine, The 1975, CHVRCHES, Lewis Capaldi and much more to the country. Today, Summer Sessions reveal that the incredible The Snuts will support fellow Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi on 13th and 14th August.
The Snuts said, "We are mad proud of everything Lewis has accomplished and it will be proper nostalgic to share a stage with him again like we did when were all boys. Fans should expect The Snuts to kick off the celebration in the loudest of fashions. Were hoping to play a huge part in what will be a night to remember for everyone there."
The capital city will enjoy an incredible NINE days of music as Summer Sessions returns to the iconic Princes Street Gardens, with a backdrop like no other, of Edinburgh Castle. Headliners include Florence + the Machines, CHVRCHES, Primal Scream, Lewis Capaldi and more, for a truly unforgettable, intimate gig during Edinburghs buzzing festival scene in August.
Following an incredible TRNSMT Festival which saw 150,000 music fans descend on Glasgow Green for three days of live music and glorious sunshine, music fans now have Glasgow Summer Sessions to look forward to, as the festival returns to Bellahouston Park for possibly its biggest year yet. The Cure will return to Scotland following a 27 year absence, Foo Fighters will play a sold-out show and Britains biggest export The 1975 will close the festival, following an outstanding year which sees them set to release two massive albums.

Summer Sessions makes a comeback for its second year in 2019, held at the Ross Bandstand with a mesmerising backdrop of Edinburgh Castle behind it in Princes Street Garden, the line-up features trailblazing female talent and legendary greats with only ONE week to go.
Starting the festival off, Florence + The Machine will play two consecutive shows on 7th and 8th August. With their first Scottish show since last summer, where they played an epic show for the V+A opening in Dundee, Primal Scream headline on 10th August. Taking the stage on 11th August, synth-pop maestros CHVRCHES, make their comeback to the capital almost 5 years since their last performance in Edinburgh - this is a unique chance to catch the band play at an iconic venue in Scotland.
Scottish singer-songwriter and man of the moment, Lewis Capaldi makes his Summer Sessions debut at TWO SOLD OUT headline shows on 13th and 14th August, joined by fellow West Lothian band The Snuts.
Bringing incendiary new songs and some of their classics of the past three decades to Summer Sessions, James, one of Britains most celebrated and enduring bands will play on 15th August. On 16th August, Manchester band, the Courteeners are set to take to the SOLD OUT stage following their epic performance at last years TRNSMT festival. Making their Summer Sessions debut, pop band, Madness will round off the party on 18th August. Celebrating their 40th Anniversary, the band are expected to bring big, bold sounds and sax solos as they play all their classic hits.
With the International Festival and The Fringe adding to a buzz in the air, Summer Sessions in Princes Street Gardens is the perfect excuse to celebrate some of the biggest acts in the world. Edinburgh is the place to be in August and you wont want to miss out!
