Detour are back.
Following the success of their loud and uncompromising first episode,
they are coming back hard and fast with episode 2.
Released on Tuesday 3rd July, this month features noise, sweat and live
performances from female fronted, alt-rockers Vukovi, as well as two
Glaswegian ladies of grungy rock, Honeyblood. Midnight Lion also give
their first live performance in 8 months, bringing back their ambient yet
strident sounds to the Scottish music scene.
This month’s big interview is with Sam from Twin Atlantic. Sat down in a
very big, empty Barrowlands, Ally and Sam chat success, representing
Scotland, and look ahead to the band’s two sold out shows in their
hometown of Glasgow.
Making sure that all genres of music are covered, MC’s Louie and Dave
from Hector Bizerk and Stanley Odd collaborate to represent how hot the hip hop community is across Scotland.
And last, but by no means least, the most talked about feature of episode 1 makes a comeback; Mr News Reviews three of the hottest new tracksemerging from Scotland this month.
