With eight floors, the Union at Strathclyde is simply the biggest and best in Britain. Right at the heart of university life, it's where most students go to relax and have a good time. So whether you're looking for a great night out, a game of pool or just somewhere to chat to friends, this is the place to head for.

What's there?

Four great bars featuring resident DJs, music, and sport-friendly TV screens. The newly-extended Gamezone with 28 pool tables, video games and quiz machines. The Barony Bar, the Union's premier nightspot and one of the best known student Union bars in the country. The Priory selling the best value cocktails in Glasgow and Vertigo - a great live music venue. On top of that the Union's new eatery The Scene, on Level 4, provides a great variety of top quality, great value meals and snacks.

What's on?

Take your pick. Theme nights like Beach Parties and Skool Discos. Top acts such as The Fratellis, Idlewild and Girls Aloud. Plus DJs, quizzes, ceilidhs, comedy, jazz, drama - and even quiet spaces. The Students' Association

The Union is the HQ for the Students' Association. All new students are automatically members and getting involved in the many activities they organise is a great way to meet people. They can also train you to represent your Faculty or class the skills you learn could be a great advantage when you start your career.

At Jordanhill

Toby's, the Union bar on the Jordanhill Campus serves hot food and cool drinks throughout the day and has regular events and theme nights throughout the year.
