SNOW PATROL
19-Sept-24 SWG3 (instore show)

Snow Patrol have never really taken the easy route. Now comprising the trio of Gary Lightbody, Johnny McDaid and Nathan Connolly, the band have emerged from the process of writing and recording their extraordinary new album, The Forest is the Path, perhaps a little battered, but maybe, just maybe, a little wiser and certainly more humble from the experience. The Forest Is The Path was released on September 13th and marks their eagerly awaited return after six years, following 2018s Wildness. This summer saw them headline a run of UK festivals, before the band returned to play two intimate shows in London and Belfast in the week of album release. They will return to play an 8 date UK and Ireland Arena tour in February 2025.

THE LAST DINNER PARTY
20-Sept-24 O2 Academy

At the turn of 2024, The Last Dinner Party had won themselves their first BRIT with the Rising Star award, and voted BBC Radio 1s Sound of 2024. They are now spending much of it joining dots from city to city on a road map across the globe, since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Prelude To Ecstasy. It has certainly been a whirlwind twelve months for the London based band, and after a summer full of exciting festival appearances, the band will be playing a stint across the country in the fall. Prelude To Ecstasy is both the closing of that introductory chapter and the opening of the next. The Last Dinner Party? Believe the hype.

KAETO
20-Sept-24 O2 Academy (supporting The Last Dinner Party)

The emerging London-based artist is fast carving a space for herself with her unique genre-spanning sound that blends elements of trip-hop, dance and electronic music with punk, alt-pop and more. KAETO first attracted attention with her startling debut Good Morning. After signing with Polydor last summer, she released No Body, which i-D declared "the most commanding artist statement weve heard all year". Following it up with several other hypnotic singles and now her upcoming mixtape INTRO releasing the 20th September, she continues to carve her own niche. KAETO has been captivating audiences with her mesmerising live performances, opening as special guest for Haim, Eliza and Bleachers, and will now be supporting The Last Dinner Party on their UK tour in October.

GOOD NEIGHBOURS
7-Oct-24 King Tuts Wah Wah Hut

Over the course of 2023, Good Neighbours began making music for the love of it, and only by summer realise they needed to create a band to release their songs under. With an urge to rekindle the early 2000s excitement of bands like Passion Pit and MGMT, Good Neighbours is a nod to classic songwriting and raucous production, inspired by A24, friendship and a cinematic approach to music. Good Neighbours last month released Daisies a "low self-esteem anthem" named BBC Radio 1s Hottest Record. Daisies follows Keep It Up a rousing pep-talk of a song and their huge, breakout debut single, Home - the first true viral success of the year, amassing more than 270 million global streams, officiating it as the most streamed debut single globally from a new artist in 2024.

BIG SPECIAL
21-Oct-24 Barrowland Ballroom (with John Grant)

The Black Country duo BIG SPECIAL are set for a run of shows following the release of their highly-anticipated debut album POSTINDUSTRIAL HOMETOWN BLUES released this past May via SO Recordings. For BIG SPECIAL - Joe Hicklin (vocals) and Callum Moloney (drums) - their sound is one that comes from vital, frustrated young working-class voices that dont always get heard on the scale they should do. Its a frustration that comes to the fore through a voice that is at times coarse and raw, but sensitive, desperate and soulful at others. Their new music has arrived in the wake of a sold-out winter UK headline tour, multiple playlisted singles on BBC 6 Music, and their presence as a hotly-tipped prospect for 2024 in a number of Ones To Watch lists.

PAUL WELLER

A recording career that began in 1977 now took in the release of his 17th solo album and his 28th in total, with his recent release of 66. 66 is quite a reflective and inward thinking album that pulls back the camera lens and shines a light on the way Wellers creativity interacts with his wider world. His upcoming 17-date stint throughout October and November sees Paul and his band gracing stages right across the country. With a career spanning 5 decades and an extensive and eclectic catalogue of songs to delve into, expect to hear new tracks from Pauls album 66 along with deep cuts from his back catalogue and fan favourites.

HAMISH HAWK
21-Dec-24 OVO Hydro (supporting Travis)
Edinburghs Hamish Hawk returned this August with the release of his new album A Firmer Hand via So Recordings. Rich of voice and even richer of imagination, Hawk creates musical pen-portraits, chamber pop songs that have swallowed both a dictionary and a compendium of modern urban (and island) fairy tales. And Hawk does all this with considerable wit, inspired by artists like Leonard Cohen, Jarvis Cocker, Randy Newman and Stephin Merritt of Magnetic Fields. Hamish Hawk will be playing a number of dates across the year in support of the new record including his recent support for Elbow this summer. He also played an extensive set of instore and outstore performances in the run-up to release.
