GoGoBot Release ‘Do You Remember?’

‘Do You Remember?’ is the new single from Glasgow’s cyber rock trio GoGoBot, with its anthemic chorus, shimmering electronic pulses and atmospheric edge, the track evokes images of by-gone era’s, childhood memories and ever changing political climates. The new video for the single features the brilliant Canadian comedian Stewart Francis who is a massive fan of the band and stars in the video’s love triangle story, ‘Who’s The Daddy?’ to hilarious yet brilliant effect, look out for the twist at the end. Stewart’s profile is sky high, being a regular guest on BBC’s TV’s ‘Mock The Week ‘ITV’s ‘One Night Only ‘and Channel 4’s ‘8 Out of 10 Cats.’

The track has been mixed by LA music producer Paul Lani, who has worked alongside David Bowie, Prince, U2 and Robbie Williams to name but a few and is the third of six to be taken from the bands ‘See Saw Series’, which will be digitally released in 2011 through Grizzly Records. The series has already received fantastic radio and press coverage with the previous two singles ‘Is This Love?’ and ‘First Class Fool’ receiving exposure on Radio 1 BBC Introducing, Clyde 1, Original 106, Waves Radio, Radio Pulse, Central FM, Northsound, West FM. With press reviews in The Herald, The Scotsman (Under the Radar), The Sun (Ones to Watch), Sunday Mail (7 Days) and The Daily Record (Single of the Week).

Since the bands formation in 2010 the band have supported Glasvegas and Heaven 17 on tour, the trio have more than demonstrated their enthusiastic live performances making festival appearances at Rockness, Wickerman, Belladrum, Gothenburg festival in Sweden and King Tuts New Year’s Revolution. Most recently the band headlined at Edinburgh’s Wide Days festival, an event of music industry seminars, workshops and showcase which brought together Scotland’s best and emerging musical talent. This is only the start for Scotland’s brightest new stars.
