SOS & WE LOVE TO BOOGIE Present UNDER THE MOONLIGHT CLUBNIGHT

Greg & Natalia, the owners at We Love to Boogie Vintage Clothing store, are no strangers to Rock n Roll having hosted a secret Glasvegas gig at their St Georges Road store in Glasgow back in September 2009.

That particular gig saw 600 people try to cram into a tiny store that fitted 50 people, the police made an appearance, the neighbours complained but those lucky enough to be inside were treated to an intimate and memorable show by the hottest band in the country at the time.

Fast forward to 2012 and they have joined forces with the countries next big thing, Strawberry Ocean Sea, to put together a Clubnight showcasing some of the best new bands in Glasgow and unite the underground fashion and music scenes.

The night is an extension to SOS own Under the Moonlight gig night but will feature live sets from headline act SOS and main support Jack Townes (Columbia) who are both tipped as “Ones to Watch in 2012” by The Sun newspaper. The King Hats and Jme Mann will also play live with DJ sets from Greg Kenney (SOS) and Natalia and Greg (WLTB) till 3am.

SOS will be working on an EP in London in the near future. They have toured with Glasvegas, supported Mona and performed at Rockness 2011.

Tipped as “an act to be huge in 2012” (The Sun), “truly original and destined for very big things” (The Metro) and “one of Scotland’s best new bands” (The News of the World) and singer Jonny Skinner once described as “Scotland’s answer to Roy Orbison” (James Allan) the year ahead promises to be massive for SOS... “this band are on the fast track to fame” (The Sunday Mail)

We Love to Boogie have a new store at 16 South Frederick Street, Glasgow where they sell a range of vintage clothing for both males and females. They have their own WLTB Collection and sell t-shirts and jewellery. They also sell through the ASOS marketplace and are regular bloggers about the fashion industry.

Under the Moonlight 17.03.12 is set to be a special night, one which will hopefully be remembered like the secret show in 2009...don’t miss it...SOS are coming.
