Read More Unsigned Scottish band The Imagineers will perform on CBS television for five consecutive nights, from the 14th to the 18th of May, with each show averaging 2 million viewers.
Craig Ferguson and his team recorded a homecoming week long Scottish special exploring the hosts native land in March, filming a concert series in the Tron Theatre (Glasgow) with The Imagineers performing a selection of their songs. The band also recorded their own version of the Show’s theme tune, which will be used as the opening credits each night of the series.
The bands song ‘Imagineer’ was chosen by CBS for their promo video featuring stars; Craig Ferguson, Michael Clark Duncan (The Green Mile), Mila Kunis (that 70s Show, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Rashida Jones (The Office, The Social Network) and Alex Salmond (Scottish First Minister). The video was aired on The Late Late Show for two nights on the 26th and 27th of April, and has generated alot of interest in the band.
Craig Ferguson sent his CBS team over to Scotland with the mission “Find me a band I would have wanted to be in 30 years ago.” Ferguson, former drummer with Glasgow band The Dreamboys, chose The Imagineers.
