2012… now that youre gone, all that’s left is a Band of Gold… so that’s why were divorcing 2012 and never, ever, ever getting back together. Like, ever.
Last year we got married with Band Of Gold. Glasgow’s Premier 80’s Wedding Band graced the stage at our ‘Big Fat Pugly Wedding’ and their set was full of Pretty Ugly’s greatest dancefloor fillers: Footloose, You Spin Me Round, Dancing In The Dark, Together In Electric Dreams – they know how to bring out the hits! Love was in the air that night as there was even a real live marriage proposal during their set! But now the honeymoon period is over so we’re bringing them back while we divorce the year that was 2012.
We’ll be working our way through the best tunes of 2012 while also throwing in some mascara stained, heartbreaking, split up anthems for you to vent to. All that and a 4am curfew, it’s going to be Pretty Ugly indeed!
Get on down to The Admiral Bar on Saturday 8th December and help us say goodbye to 2012. And remember, don’t get mad, get everything…
