The show kicked off with Forever Road, a song appropriately dedicated to the singers love for the audience.
It Wont Be Like This For Long followed - a song, said the ex-Hootie frontman, for all the parents out there; beautifully played and sung with such delicate affection.

Homegrown Honey - a careful arrangement combining country and rock- had the crowd dancing and swaying along to its sugar-sweet melodies.
The next song was the first song Rucker ever wrote (admitting he was drunk at the time), Let Her Cry. A melancholy and poignant ballad about letting things be, it tugged on the collective heartstrings.
One of the most memorable moments of the show was Hold my Hand, in which the Hydro audience sang and danced along to the joyful, bold track. The violin solo was a highlight, and the presence of the fiddler just added that familiar country feel.
A mesmerising song was up next Alright - a colourful tune to end the show before the final encore.
The encore commenced with an unusual combination of bagpipes, violin, double bass and guitar. The atmosphere was electric from Darius and his band, the soulful music and the delighted audience all seeming to fit together perfectly in concert at that point! The show ended with the cheery ditty, Wagon Wheel, which literally had the audience line dancing in sync - what a phenomenal show, bringing people to move together in unison and affection. Traditional, distinctive, "twangy" country music at its best!
Spot on, Darius Rucker!
