Nathan Evans & St PHNX thank fans for Scottish #1 and UK #4 album triumph


Nathan Evans and the Saint PHNX Band - brothers Stevie and Al Jukes - have taken Scotland to the highest reaches of the charts today, as their collaborative new album Angels Share enters at #4 in the Official UK Album Chart, #1 in the Scottish Chart and #1 in the UK Download Chart.

The band have spent the week playing free, pop-up shows around the country, with huge turnouts showing the level of grass-roots support they have gathered.

Nathan says:

"Scotland, thank you all so much for your INCREDIBLE and continued support. In Als words "we feel like Mel Gibson in Braveheart. This means more to us all than you will ever know - to be Number 4 in the Official UK charts, Number 1 in the Scottish charts and Download Charts is more than a dream come true. Our fans continue to surprise us at every turn, so we want to say thank you all once again. This year has started with the biggest BANG and if this is how its started, we cant wait to see what the rest of it has in store. Well see you all at a show soon!"

They will be on The One Show on BBC 1 today at 7.00pm.

The trio have announced a new Scottish live show today, at the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness on 29th May, with support from Calum Bowie.
