Motionless In White - OVO Hydro 05/02/2026

Fire, crowd surfing, brutal screams, the gig had everything.

Motionless In White at the OVO Hydro, it was one of those gigs where everyone walked out hoarse, aching, and completely happy.

From the second the lights dropped, the place erupted, everyone felt that "this is about to go off" tension in the room, and the band wasted no time leaning into it. The opening songs hit like a punch to the chest - heavy, loud, and absolutely relentless. The Hydro felt massive, but somehow still intimate in that way only a band with this kind of fan connection can pull off.

Chris Motionless was unreal, his vocals were spot on all night, switching effortlessly between brutal screams and those huge, emotional choruses that had everyone screaming back at him. You could tell he was genuinely soaking in the crowd too, "This is finally a kind of show I can give to the UK, Im putting America aside for now" he said.

The setlist was a mix of new and old, more recent tracks like Meltdown, Afraid Of The Dark and City Lights were belted out, however the band never forgot about their classics such as Another Life and Eternally Yours - with thousands singing every word like it meant something personal to them.

Production wise, it was exactly what you'd want from Motionless In White, with dark visuals, aggressive lighting and lots of fire (and I mean lots of fire) - it felt cinematic without being overdone, the visuals matched the mood perfectly.

And the crowd? the Hydro may have not been at its highest capacity, but Glasgow still showed up. The guards had a nightmare shift on the night dealing with all of the crowd surfers, the energy never dipped - chants between songs, arms around strangers during the big sing alongs. It was the kind of crowd that reminds you why live music feels like home.

Motionless In White didnt just play a show, they created a moment, this is a band at the top of their game and definitely worth checking out.
