…and welcome to the 100th Glasgowmusic newsletter (Since the restart)

This week’s edition is going to feature news on various festivals alongside loads more new!


- On Thursday night you could win 2 BENICASSIM tickets, YES this is correct. 2 Beni tickets are up for grabs in an event taking place in Pivo Pivo. For just £5 you will be entered into draw to win the pair of tickets for the festival in the sun (travel not included – however £300 worth of tickets for a fiver?!)

- I am now the booker for The Ashton Crawl taking place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd September in various venues on Ashton Lane. Details of acts confirmed will be announced soon. There will be 4 venues with a selection of various music styles. I am very excited about this event and I hope you will be too. The Ashton Crawl is G1s event on Ashton Lane.


- I will be putting on a ‘www.glasgowmusic.co.uk presents’ at the Edinburgh Festival this year at the Ross Open Air Theatre. Bands playing are SEED and JOHNNY BARR with another to be announced in due course.


- MARK COPELAND & THE WOUNDED PIRATES are playing PRESTFEST and heading to support Tommy Reilly on Sunday 5th August. Let me know if you would like tickets for this.
